Genevieve Nnaji sets straight a fan who accused her of being uneducated
Genevieve Nnaji is one Nollywood actress who is known for her outspoken activism especially issues bordering around gender equality. The renowned diva made her stand known once more through her endorsement of an oil painting which she found quite gripping.
A follower of the actress who found the interpretation of the painting she shared very inappropriate and offensive took to writing a comment that put off the screen diva.
In the first place, the painting which Genevieve had taken to liking was an oil painting which depicted a supposed sister of the Catholic faith who looked like she was a nun as embodied in the attire she wore.
There was yet another lady in the painting who wore the Muslim hijab. The sisterhood portrayed between the duo inspired Genevieve to repost the picture alongside with an impressionable epistle that passed across a message wrapped around feminism.

"Recently I watched a video where I saw a Muslim lady get groped by a man passing by. I mention the fact that she is Muslim only to point out that she is completely covered from head to toe. And i remember thinking to myself, how are they going to spin this on her, surely she must have provoked this attack one way or the other.
Since it’s not the way she’s dressed perhaps is the way she stood, maybe it was a bit too provocative, just a enough to drive the man over the edge, beyond his senses such that he lost all control and touched her.
Society tends to use dressing and religion to cover up the fact that touching a woman without her consent is wrong. From my personal experience when I have certain places to go to, I have to consider what I'm wearing because I'm afraid of being attacked and even when covered up I'm not assured that I won't be. As my cousin said to me "Hide yourselves my fellow women less you breathe the wrong way and cause a man to lose his senses, after all their control is held by very thin air".
It saddens me what my sisters and I have to go through. Of course it’s our fault for being women, that we were bestowed by some nature. Our fault that men are not taught from young to treat women with honor and respect and that little girls are taught to be ashamed of their bodies."
The fan who considered this interpretation improper trolled on Genevieve and told her to go get an education on a particular field of study. The actress who just released an all important movie was not having any of this insult so she also replied to the individual.
See the dialogue below:
This is coming after the actress Genevieve Nnaji was said to have joined Hollywood by signing a deal with a talent agency. Apparently, the very busy and important celebrity deliberately put the troll in his or her place so as to assert her status.
