Nigerians angry at Comedian Deeone for saying the country does not need constant electricity

The latest season of Big Brother Nigeria produced a lot of young people whose unique way of thinking and doing things have gone on to refresh and rejuvenate many Nigerians. However, one such ex BBNaija contestant has angered many with a particular opinion that is not sitting well with the populace. 

This ex-contestant named Deeone recently took to his Instagram page to express a rather unwelcome thought about the situation of electricity in Nigeria. 

Most Nigerians are clearly not happy with the fact that power supply is usually not regular or constant in most parts of the country and often times, a lot of people have vented about this problem of electricity. 

However, as it would appear, comedian Deeone has gone on to express a different an opinion from an entirely different point of view. According to the guy, he thought that the less than constant supply of power in Nigeria was actually a good thing.

 For him, the country does not need electricity as such. Deeone maintained that he simply did not see the need for it. Based on what he said, the comedian expressed that Nigerians only used electricity for irrelevant purposes like watching the television so there was no need for the light to be constant. 

In establishing this opinion of his, Deeone shared a video on his Instagram page to this effect. Sitting comfortably in a car, the comedian ranted about the not so important need for electricity. 

Many Nigerians upon hearing this rant by Deeone took to lambasting him for his unguided statement. A lot of trolling and insults hit him just as soon as he released his statement.

callynnnnnn: "I had to take the stress of coming to your page to write this..you don’t just open your mouth and speak anything that your brain in its capacity thinks,look light is a nesscessity just like safe water supply is,look you don’t just say things,you didn’t even think of the noise and air pollution generator causes which is not good for human health thereby affecting the health of the environs,my dear I think you have lost touch with reality..."

But even more, there were Nigerians who did not come out blatantly to hit back at Deeone. They went through the back road of sarcasm. Several videos were released to this effect. 

Only recently, the comedian received a backlash from two fellow contestants Princess and Ifuennada due to the brawls he had with them. The females who were not happy about how he addressed them took to paying him back in his own coin. However, it would seem that the beef between them and Deeone has been settled.
